Pupils who returned to school today (Wednesday) were unable to use their smartcards to pay bus fares.
Isle of Man Bus and Rail says it's experiencing 'technical issues' with Go School cards, as well as with the Go cards website. A spokesman said the issues are being investigated and there will be an update as soon as more information is available.
Charging for school bus journeys was introduced in January this year, with fares paid using preloaded smart cards and no option to pay cash. Primary school children returned to school today and secondary school students will return tomorrow (Thursday).
