Manx Telecom has appointed Tracey Hewlett as Senior Graphic and Multimedia Designer. She has almost 30 years’ experience as a graphic designer and joins the Island’s leading communications provider from Isle of Man Advertising where she worked for 17 years – initially as a Senior Graphic Designer, and for the past 11 years as Design Manager.
Her role at Manx Telecom involves overseeing and producing a wide range of visual marketing communications for both B2B and B2C creative projects, while maintaining the integrity of the Manx Telecom brand. Tracey, who is based at Manx Telecom’s headquarters at Isle of Man Business Park, Braddan, will also be working on internal communications and the Isle of Man Phone Book and Business Directory projects, as part of her remit.
Commenting on her appointment, she said:
“My specialisation and expertise lies in corporate branding and its implementation, which is a huge advantage for my new role at Manx Telecom. It will be a natural transition for me to apply my expertise from an agency environment to an in-house marketing department across the full range of marketing collateral. I am thoroughly looking forward to the challenge of working in such an exciting sector for a company which is committed to continuing its long history of pioneering new technology.”
During her career she has worked on projects for a broad cross-section of private and public sector clients including Isle of Man Government, Nedbank Private Wealth, Hansard International, MEA and Isle of Man Post Office. In the earlier part of her career in the UK Tracey worked on creative projects for many leading brands, including Boots No7, Avon Cosmetics, Schwartz, Mercedes-Benz, Reebok, 3M and Carlsberg-Tetley.
Commenting on the appointment Manx Telecom’s Marketing Communications Manager, Voirrey Barron, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Tracey to our marketing team. She has a wealth of skills, experience and expertise which will enable her to play a significant role in a very exciting era for the business.”
