New appointment at PwC Isle of Man

PwC Isle of Man is delighted to announce that Claire Watterson has joined its expanding Advisory department as a manager, with a focus on insolvency and business re-organisation services.

Claire is a chartered accountant and she brings a wealth of insolvency expertise as well as accomplished project management skills to the firm. Claire commented: "I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities arising from joining such a well recognised and highly respected firm as PwC. I believe our expanding department has a lot to offer the Island's business community and I am excited to be part of this."

Ian Clague, Senior Partner at PwC Isle of Man said: “We have a long track record of dealing with the biggest and most complicated insolvency and transformation projects in the Isle of Man and we continue to see demand from many sources in this service area. Claire’s addition to the team further increases our capacity to allow us to carry out this complex work and demonstrates the opportunities that we can give to talented people.”

Mike Simpson, Head of Advisory at PwC Isle of Man, said: “Claire's arrival further strengthens our insolvency team and our ability to handle corporate and personal insolvencies of all sizes and levels of complexity.”

Gordon Wilson, Advisory Director at PwC Isle of Man, welcomed Claire as a highly valued addition to the team, saying: “Claire is an outstanding young professional in the insolvency field. She comes to PwC with a great deal of relevant experience already under her belt and has the right combination of drive and ambition to go much further in her career.
