Guy Martin has taken to social media to update his fans on his condition after the crash in the Superbike race at the Ulster Grand Prix in August.
He's thanked his supporters and well-wishers for all the cards received, '"I’ve had over 100 cards wishing me well. I really appreciate them, I read them all and I think they’re mega. So thanks for them."
He goes on to say that he doesn't remember anything about the crash after headbutting the ground at 130mph, but thanks the staff at the Belfast hospital where he was treated. "I’ve had my head down for a few weeks, because I didn’t want the world knowing I spannered myself, but it turns out the world already knew. I also wanted to make sure that anything you heard was straight from the horse’s mouth."
Guy has also had to postpone a bid to break a 400mph land speed record in America, but is expected to give it a go sometime later this year.
