ManSat is pleased to announce that KPMG Senior Telecommunications Advisor Stuart McIntosh has joined the ManSat Advisory Board.
Stuart is a leading expert in the areas of international telecoms strategy, policy and economic regulation, all of which are highly relevant to ManSat’s rapidly developing business.
Before joining KPMG, he was a board member at Ofcom, the UK Communications Regulator, where he also had executive responsibility for Ofcom’s work on economic regulation of the telecoms, broadcasting and postal sectors.
Prior to Ofcom, Stuart was a leading consultant to the communications sector globally. He has held a range of senior positions with PwC, IBM Global Consulting Services and British Telecom in the United Kingdom and the United States and has led telecoms strategy, regulatory and sector policy consulting projects in both advanced and emerging telecoms markets in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa.
ManSat CEO and Chairman Chris Stott said:
‘Stuart is a most welcome addition to our Board of Advisors and brings with him both incredible experience and a valuable insight into telecoms regulation, competition policy and more in our ongoing work for the Isle of Man.’
Stuart McIntosh added:
‘ManSat has deep expertise in satellite regulatory filings and related areas and an excellent reputation in the international satellite community and beyond.
‘I am excited to be joining ManSat’s Advisory Board and look forward to working with the ManSat leadership team at this time of wide ranging change in the satellite industry as the industry increasingly faces similar strategic, technology deployment and regulatory issues to those which I have covered in my career with telecommunications operators, industry advisors and at Ofcom.’
