Abacus Yachts: A Return Voyage to Monaco

by isleofman.com 1st September 2015

The annual prestigious Monaco Yacht Show returns to Port Hercule in Monaco next month; as will representatives from Abacus Yachts.

The biggest event on the yachting industry’s calendar will be held 24 – 26 September and representatives from Abacus will be returning to promote the opportunities and benefits of maritime jurisdictions such as the Isle of Man and Malta, as well as the yacht ownership and administration services of Abacus Yachts.

Paul Swindale and John-Michael McCann will be actively meeting with owners and their representatives at the show as well as networking with other likeminded professionals to discuss the current state of the industry and its predicted future.

As one of the longest established and reputable services providers on the Isle of Man, Abacus will also form part of the Isle of Man Superyacht Forum’s team who will be co-hosting the Isle of Man Department of Economic Development’s Isle of Man stand at Darse Sud QS36 during the event.

Commenting on the upcoming show, Paul Swindale said: “This is my fifth Monaco yacht show and one of my favourite events in the corporate calendar.

“We are currently very active in the yacht world through both the Isle of Man and Malta office and the timing of the show could not be better as it gives us a chance to catch up with clients, captains and people from the yachting community.

“The other interesting thing is that over the course of recent shows, conversations have extended beyond the yacht world, often into how the business jet is owned and operated and how the family office can use the services of firms like our own in the future for generational planning etc…..Roll on the 24th September!”

The show will attract a range of visitors and exhibitors, including but not limited to yacht owners, captains, brokers, advisors, shipyards and suppliers; all of whom will be taking full advantage of the fabulous networking opportunities the show’s platform provides.

Abacus provides simple ownership structures for both pleasure and commercial yachts, working alongside owners and their representatives to provide administration support to the owner so that they have the freedom to enjoy their yacht. Abacus will be promoting their full range of yacht services at the Monaco Yacht Show and will be happy to discuss the considerable benefits of using the Isle of Man or Malta and how they can assist with structuring and managing ownership of a yacht.
