The staff of Castletown based firm Optimus Fiduciaries Limited have undertaken their first of a series of community based events by offering their services to paint the fences at Poulsom Park, Castletown.
“We are so grateful to everyone at Optimus” said Eddie Convery, Castletown Commissioners, “To take time out of their working day and to have so many of their staff taking part has been absolutely fantastic. The park looks great and will be a benefit to Castletown not just for the remainder of this summer but for years to come.”
In conjunction with Castletown Commissioners, over 40 staff took part in two teams, one in the morning and one in the afternoon to give the park a new and colourful look around the children’s play area.
“It is really good to be able to put something back into the local Castletown community” said Gill Titley, Senior Manager in Optimus. “When we were approached by the Commissioners we had such an enthusiastic response from our staff to take part and we appreciate the Directors allowing us to do this as part of our working day.”
This forms the first of a series of community based events the Castletown firm are looking to involve themselves in over the next 12 months and have certainly got off to a colourful start.
