Witnesses sought to dog attack

The owner of a dog that bit a four year old child in the face has come forward after a police appeal.


Witnesses are still being sought to the incident which occurred in the area of Ballakermeen Avenue, Douglas, on Sunday morning. The child was not seriously hurt.


Police have asked members of the public not to speculate and apportion blame, adding: 'The investigation will be conducted without bias and with an open mind.'
