Fabulous donation from local company helps Hospice complete its Dementia Room

Hospice was delighted to receive a donation of ?500 from local company 1st Care. The company, based in Union Mills, made the charitable donation in order to assist Hospice Isle of Man in completing its dedicated ‘Dementia Room’.

As a private care company that specialises in dementia care, 1st Care recognise the importance of this fantastic ‘memory room’ that the Hospice have put in place with the support of the community to help patients dealing with dementia and cancer.

1st Care appreciates how people’s quality of life can be improved by having access to such a fantastic facility within the Hospice.

The clinical team at Hospice thanked the local company for their support with this initiative.
