Lloyds Bank International colleagues in Douglas will be chaperoning Pudsey and Blush on Saturday 15th August as part of their fundraising efforts for Lloyds Banking Group’s charity of the year, BBC Children in Need.
The public are invited to come along and meet BBC Children in Need official mascots Pudsey bear and his friend Blush in the Strand Shopping Centre from 10am onwards. Children and adults alike will get the chance to take a selfie with the famous bears, plus take home a goody bag full of great surprises.
Sam Pretty from Lloyds Bank said:
"I decided to support BBC Children in Need because although not a mother myself I am “Auntie Sam “and would love all children to have the same opportunities as my own family and I feel that we can help by ensuring a loving and safe environment. It’s great to know that every pound will help BBC Children in Need make a positive change to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people, Lloyds Banking Group has given me the opportunity to do this all this from my desk at work”
The colleagues in the Isle of Man are raising money for BBC Children in Need to ensure that children and young people in the UK and the Isle of Man have a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential.
Lloyds Banking Group has committed to raising ?22million through colleague fundraising for its charities of the year by 2020. The Group’s charity partnership with Children in Need forms a key part of the Group’s commitment to bringing communities together to help them thrive, laid out in its Helping Britain Prosper Plan
