Lord Alan Sugar has led tributes to Stuart Baggs, whose body was discovered in his apartment in Douglas yesterday (Thursday).
Described as 'Apprentice legend' on the front page of today's Sun newspaper, Baggs became a cult figure after appearing on the show.
Lord Sugar tweeted 'terrible news Stuart Baggs has died. My sincere condolences to his family and friends RIP one of the stand out characters of the apprentice'.
His sister Charlotte posted on facebook 'He was the biggest character and will leave the biggest hole behind. Not knowing what or why makes it all the harder....he was the king of following his dreams and making them happen.'
Comedian Dara O Briain tweeted 'sad news about the death of Stuart Baggs. Interviewed him on You're Fired and he was funny and self-effacing. Condolences to his family'.
Apprentice judge Nick Hewer said 'He will be remembered with affection by all who knew him on Apprentice 6.'
He had just celebrated his 27th birthday with the launch of a new product by his company BlueWave Communications and gave his last interview to the Examiner newspaper, published on Tuesday. He was found in the bedroom of his Spectrum Apartments home by a friend at 9am yesterday.
Police say there was nothing 'to indicate that his death is criminally suspicious' and appealed for family and friends to be given privacy.
