Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of alleged indecency against a child.
A 24 year old Ramsey man was arrested in the area of Whitebridge Avenue in the town at about 11.20am yesterday (Wednesday). The incident was said to have occurred in the Poyll Dhooie area of Ramsey an hour earlier.
He's been charged with indecency towards a child under the age of 16 and will appear in court today.
Sergeant Vinny Lund said: 'Police are anxious to hear from anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the Whitebridge Ford, or Poyll Dhooie around 10am on Wednesday. In particular we would like to speak to dog walkers who were in the nature area of Poyll Dhooie, and also a man and a woman who were feeding ducks by the ford.'
