Summerland disaster act of remembrance

Douglas Borough Council will hold a short act of remembrance on Sunday August 2nd at 10am when the Mayor of Douglas Councillor Sara Hackman will place a wreath at the Summerland memorial and make a short speech to mark the 42nd anniversary of the Summerland disaster.

The general public and all those whose lives have been touched by the tragedy are invited to join with council members at the brief ceremony, which will take place in the Kaye Memorial Garden on Queen’s Promenade, Douglas.
