Pokerstars & Prostate Cancer UK launch 'Lads Night In'

PokerStars and leading men’s health charity Prostate Cancer UK, have announced they are joining forces for a special one-night event in a bid to raise money to fight prostate cancer. This will include a special local event on the Island at the Palace Casino on the night before the UK event.

Lads Night In, which will take place on September 25, 2015, is aimed at encouraging thousands of men across the UK to gather together in their own homes for bravado, banter and beers all in the name of charity. The participants will then donate their home game prize pool to Prostate Cancer UK to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life.

To get involved people are being asked to sign up online at the Lads Night In website. Everyone who registers will receive a special Lads Night In pack, with a few gifts including a deck of cards, donated by PokerStars that can be used to play an unforgettable round with friends.

PALACE CASINO EVENT

The Best Western Palace Casino in Douglas will be holding their very own Lads Night In poker night with all proceeds going to Prostate Cancer UK. The ?50 entry tournament will take place on September 24th with free food and drink for all participants and some amazing prizes up for grabs including UK and Ireland Poker Tour Isle of Man tournament entries and various PokerStars-branded gifts.

The Palace Casino are also offering qualifier events with a ?10 buy-in starting from 28th August and running every Friday until the Lads Night In Main Event.

PokerStars will be carrying out a number of other promotional activities and competitions as part of the partnership, details of which are to be unveiled in coming weeks on the PokerStars Blog.
