Emergency services attend RTC at Douglas carpark

Earlier today, Monday 27th July, emergency services were called to a report of an RTC in a car park off Victoria Road, Douglas.

A car was found to have rolled off the car park and down a grass verge before coming to rest after colliding with a tree. Fire crews secured the vehicle before cutting away undergrowth to allow the driver to be removed safely. Firefighters walked the driver back up the grass verge to the awaiting ambulance where they were checked over by paramedic’s.

It is thought that the driver had suffered a minor bump to the head.
