Ramsey Crookall proud sponsors of IOM Gymnastics Team at International Event

by isleofman.com 23rd July 2015
Local gymnasts who have been selected to represent the IOM at the forthcoming Inter Island Games 2015, being held in Ynys Mon, are in their final stages of preparations for the event to be held 22nd July to 25th July.

As the sport of gymnastics was not included in the Official Island Games 2015 recently held in Jersey, the Nations have come together to deliver an alternative event to allow their gymnasts to compete against each other at such an international event. The IOM team comprises of both Mens and Womens Senior and Junior Gymnasts, each competing all apparatus in their disciplines. They will face some strong competition from 8 other Nations, travelling as far afield as Bermuda, Cayman Islands and Aland and closer to home from Jersey, Shetland and Ynys Mon, as well as the hosts of the Official Island Games in 2017 Gotland.

Joanna Crookall CEO of Ramsey Crookall, one of the sponsors supporting the team, attended their final Squad Session recently and witnessed the focus and commitment of the Squad members in their training regime. Joanna said: ‘Ramsey Crookall are pleased to be a sponsor of this Team and having seen the level of training they have put into their preparations for the event, wish them every success in their performance and are confident they will do the Island proud and bring home some medals.’

Full details on the Team and updates throughout the event can be found on IOM Gymnastics Facebook and Twitter pages.
