Peel Lifeboat launched to search for yacht

Peel RNLI lifeboat was launched yesterday (Tuesday 21st July) at 10:45am to search for a yacht thought to be lost and aground.

After launching with its volunteer crew the lifeboat headed North East only to be recalled after the yacht had been found aground near Peel Island off the English coast by Workington inshore lifeboat. Peel boat returned to station at about 11:30am.
