Leading multi-jurisdictional trust and corporate services provider, Equiom, has been short listed for three categories in the prestigious Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards 2016.
The international Group is in the running for ‘Trust Company of the Year’ for the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Hong Kong. The announcement follows Equiom’s recent success at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards, where it was named ‘Trust Company of the Year’.
Equiom’s Global Chief Executive Officer, Sheila Dean, commented: “This is the first year we have entered multiple categories and it is a great accolade for Equiom to be shortlisted for ‘Trust Company of the Year’ in three of the five jurisdictions in which we operate. We have achieved tremendous growth over the past year – we’re now fully operational in five international financial centres – and throughout this period of expansion I am proud to say that service standards have remained central to our philosophy. I believe this continued focus on delivering seamless client service and providing the best possible expertise across the Group, is the reason we continue to be recognised as a leading provider in the industry.”
The short listings mark the launch of the public voting stage in the awards process, when individuals across a number of key jurisdictions are invited to cast online votes for their preferred legal, trust and wealth management providers. The results of the public vote will be combined with the decision of an independent panel of judges and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in January next year.
The Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards, now in their fifth year, were established to recognise the excellence of advisers and managers in the private wealth sector throughout the major international financial centres.
