by isleofman.com 21st July 2015
A course for budding guitar players starts in Onchan this Saturday (July 25th).

The four week course, designed for complete beginners, will be run by guitar tutor John Gregory at the Onchan Youth and Community Centre in School Road.

There will be a session for children at 10.30am for an hour and a session for adults from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

The total cost per person for the four sessions is ?40 (?10 per session) and the course will run every Saturday up to and including Saturday, August 15.

John said: "This course aims to cover the basics of the guitar and help players get started on their own musical journey.

"The sessions will be fun and friendly and no previous knowledge of the guitar or music is necessary."

Participants should take along an acoustic guitar and a 'clip on' guitar tuner.
