Princess Anne is making a flying visit to the Isle of Man today.

As patron of a ?10million fund raising effort to renovate Peel Cathedral she will be taking a look at the progess being made there. The Princess Royal is also visiting Triumph Actuation Systems in Onchan. The firm makes aircraft components and Princess Anne will be given a tour of the premises.

She is a regular visitor to the island and was last here in January 2014 when she visited Peel Cathedral, the prison and Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture headquarters in St John's, as well as officially opening a new equestrian centre in Santon.
