The Manx Bat Group continues to celebrate its 25th Anniversary year with a bat walk round Ballasalla on the evening of Saturday 25th July

Meeting at the ford near The Abbey restaurant at 21:10 members of the public are invited to join the Manx Bat Group for a walk at dusk looking out for, and listening with bat detectors for, bats around the village. Several roosts are known in and around the village and we will be counting the bats as they emerge from these, meeting up again at the end of the evening at the ford to watch Daubenton’s bats as they pick insects from the surface of the river.

The Manx Bat Group will also have a stand at the Southern Agricultural Show and welcomes enquiries and observations from members of the public.
