Beach Buddies is creating another new group for beach cleaning - this time for singles.

Behind the idea is regular volunteer Shem Allanson who wants to hear from any singles who would like to get involved.

The intention is to run special regular sessions where single men and women can meet in an informal atmosphere, whilst doing something positive for the environment and wildlife.

Shem said, “I keep finding more people who are interested in the idea of singles beach cleaning, so I think it’s definitely worth a try. Initially, we are aiming for 35+’s.”
