by isleofman.com 17th July 2015
The staff and pupils of Ballasalla School were joined by friends and family for a “Grand Day Out” recently to Silverdale.

A lovely walk through Silverdale Glen, not forgetting to make a wish at the Monks’ Well, was followed by playtime in the woods, a picnic and even a Jimbo’s ice cream.

Headteacher, Jamie Cox said, “It was great to get everyone together, pupils, staff, family and friends, out and about enjoying our local environment.”

Pupil Ashton Fick, aged 5 said, “It was the best school day ever!”
