In what has become an annual event Lon Dhoo male voice choir sang “Summer Music at the Boathouse” in aid of Peel RNLI on Wednesday night (15th July).
The Peel RNLI Ladies Guild arranged for the choir plus guests to entertain with some new and some older traditional male voice music alongside some lighter items. Almost 100 people enjoyed music from the choir and guests and afterward enjoyed a supper supplied by the ladies of the guild. ?690 was raised for RNLI funds and Paddy Kelly, Chair of the Ladies Guild thanked all for their help in raising a wonderful amount.
During the evening the choir made a presentation to Irene Graham who was retiring after having been their accompanist for over twenty years.
