The finals of the Albany Equiom Junior Open tournament were concluded on Saturday with some excellent matches – with the U12 mixed singles being the longest with Roch Mirski eventually beating Jack Christian. Orry Farnworth (7yrs) was awarded the Best performance medal for winning both the U8 and U9 mixed singles.
The girls have it tough – as there are fewer girls playing tennis they play in the mixed age groups with the boys. So all credit to Charlotte Clarke as runner-up to Jayden Go in the U10 mixed singles.
