Teen charged with supplying heroin

An 18 year old from St Helens in Merseyside will appear in court today after being charged with supplying ?14,000 of
heroin.


He was arrested on Monday for shoplifting and possession with intent to supply heroin and was taken by police to Noble's hospital as it was suspected he had hidden drugs internally. He's been charged with two offences of theft, the offence of possession with intent to supply heroin and supplying heroin.


Detective Sergeant Paul Holland said: 'Dealing any controlled drug is serious; however heroin is a particularly dangerous and damaging substance, not just for the user but also their families and friends. I cannot stress enough the impact heroin has on these members of our community. The Pro Active Team will continue to target individuals involved in the importation and onward distribution of controlled drugs. If you’re caught expect a long Prison sentence.'
