Walking a Mile in a Carers’ Shoes…………

by isleofman.com 13th July 2015

Pictured are Heather Libreri, a Maths teacher from Douglas, and Hannah Leece, a student from Colby.

They braved the inconsistencies of the Manx climate to raise money for Crossroads Care by entering the Parish Walk.

Both were first time entrants and between them they walked a grand total of 51.5 miles.  Hannah managed to reach Rushen and Heather Peel before their feet gave up.

Between them they’ve raised about ?240 and are both pleased to report their blisters are nearly healed.
