Following on from the success of the Hospice's boutique shop which was open from before Christmas 2014 through to January 2015 it has been announced that a flagship boutique is to open in Strand Street, Douglas.
The shop will open on Monday 13th July at 10am. The shop will be open Monday through to Saturday from 10am-4pm. The shop will be run entirely by volunteers with the support of the team based at the shops’ warehouse. The aim of this boutique is to sell speciality pieces, designer clothes, bags and ornaments.
High end donations would be very gratefully received – please drop into the boutique or the Hospice's warehouse – near the main Isle of Man Post HQ.
Shops manager, Judith Leslie explained: “The boutique was a huge success when it was a pop up shops so we have decided to do it again, but this time on a more permanent footing. Hospice shops provide much valued and needed income to the main Hospice so we are very grateful to everyone who donates items and to all that purchase the pre-loved and new pieces. It is worth noting that one hour of care is ?20 which could equate to an outfit being sold in our shops.”
