David Fayle promoted to IOM Post Office Finance Manager

Isle of Man Post Office is delighted to announce that David Fayle was appointed to the position of Finance Manager in May this year.

David first joined the Post Office in 2008 as Management Accounts Clerk where he prepared financial management accounts for business unit managers and executive directors. Over the years, David has been an integral part of the finance team, which meets the financial needs of the business from day to day operations to financial strategy.

In his new role as Finance Manager, David has responsibility for the management of the management accounting team within the Post Office. This includes looking after year end accounting processes, budgeting and forecasting. David is also responsible for provision of business information to management and the board.

To add to this, since 2012, David has been studying towards his ACCA qualification and is now sitting his final papers at professional level.

Commenting on David's promotion, Isle of Man Post Office Finance Director David Catlow said: "We are delighted to be able to give David the opportunity to progress within the business. During his time at the Post Office, David has proven himself to be a valuable team member and a great asset to the business, I’m sure that this will continue in his new position as Finance Manager”

David Fayle also commented: "I'm delighted with my new role and the opportunities ahead of me. The Post Office has provided a fantastic environment in which I can continue to develop my skills, and together with the management accounting team I look forward to continuing to provide a high level of service to the business."
