Equiom continues support of Albany Lawn Tennis Club Junior Open

by isleofman.com 8th July 2015
Trust and corporate services provider, Equiom, has announced its renewed sponsorship of the Albany Lawn Tennis Club (LTC) Junior Open Tournament for 2015 - 2017.

Equiom’s Global Chief Executive Officer, Sheila Dean, commented; “We are delighted to continue our commitment to Albany LTC for the next three years and to support the sporting development of local children. The Junior Open is always a well-attended event and greatly enjoyed by the participants”.

This year’s tournament takes place from 4th to 11th July at Albany’s Ballaughton Meadows facilities and is anticipated to attract up to 40 participants aged between six and 18.

Secretary of Albany Lawn Tennis Club, Pat Sharp, added: "Having been involved with juniors and junior competitions for almost 50 years, I know how important it is for young players to test the skills learned on coaching courses. We are mainly dependent on fundraising in order to operate, so I am really pleased that Sheila and Equiom are continuing their support of this tournament. The event is open to all junior players from other clubs, so the whole Island benefits."

The tournament finals will take place on Saturday 11th July from midday, with prize presentations scheduled from 4pm.
