Martin Brunnschweiler owner of Bushy’s Brewery recently presented Lesley Sleight with her latest UK Field Archery Records.

Bushy’s Glen has been the club grounds for Bowderyn Vannin Field Archery Club for nearly 30 years.

Lesley said ‘The Glen provides a superb training ground offering a range of shots, uphill, downhill, short and long, through trees , across streams and a pond. Without such a facility I could never have reached my present level and I thank Martin for his continued support of the Club.’

The Archery GB UK records were set at Mere Archery Club in Somerset. Lesley smashed her own existing records the FITA 24 unmarked record by 21 points with a score of 231 and the FITA Combined with a score of 400 points. British Champion Lesley is presently ranked number 1 in the UK for American Flatbow.
