Local firm wear something purple for charity

by isleofman.com 7th July 2015
The staff of Castletown based firm Optimus Fiduciaries Limited have come dressed wearing something purple in support of the Diana Princess of Wales Care at Home Trust with all money raised on the day going towards the charity.

“We have decided to start “Operation Purple” asking the local and business communities to help us achieve our goal.” said Ron Spencer, Chairman of the Trustees, “It is great to see the likes of Optimus and their staff fully engaging in the day, raising awareness and money for the charity. The aim is to make this an annual event on the first Friday of July each year.”

The aim of the Diana Princess of Wales Care at Home Trust is to provide high quality nursing care and support the individual patient, the family, friends and carers, when the patient has chosen to remain at home, essentially ‘Hospice at Home’.

“We are pleased to be able to support such a great charity” said Maureen Quayle, Director in Optimus and also Trustee of this worthy cause. “It is a great initiative and pleased the staff have embraced the initiative - it has given the office a very purple feel for the day”
