Celebrate Independents’ Day on July 4th

Shoppers in Douglas can be in with a chance of winning vouchers worth more than ?100 when they celebrate Independents’ Day on Saturday July 4th ahead of Tynwald Day on July 6th and Manx National Week.

Organised by Douglas Development Partnership to support shopping locally and promote the wide range of independent retail outlets in the town centre, Independents’ Day is bringing together a host of shops offering discounts and special deals for one day only. There’ll also be a fair of independent stall holders in Regent Street, the RNLI is holding a flag day street collection and there’s a quiz to win vouchers from a selection of participating businesses worth more than ?100.

Participating businesses include:

  • Extreme Arts and Gadgets;
  • Head Candy and WOW Nails at Head Candy;
  • Lexicon Bookshop;
  • JJ Ribbons;
  • M&Co;
  • Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids @ Isle of Man;

  • Sure Isle of Man;
  • The Canvas Art Studio;
  • The Creative Stores;
  • Wilkins.
Independents’ Day Saturday July 4th. Free parking in Chester Street, Shaw’s Brow and the Bottleneck car parks.
