If this weekend you start to notice more than the usual accents and foreign languages around the island it might be some of the 100 overseas delegates from countries including Brazil, United States, Russia, South Africa, Ireland, England and Scotland who are visiting the Isle of Man for a weekend conference with Living Hope Community Church.
Lead Pastor, Jonathan Stanfield said:
“Our annual Four12 conference this week on Friday and Saturday for the churches with whom we partner across the world was sold out earlier this year in under 48 hours. Due to lack of large venues on the island we had to limit the attendance to around 500 including children. However you might say that such demand is a problem of life rather than death so we welcome the challenge of being part of a thriving and growing church. It’s amazing how this gem of God’s earth is once again coming alive a place where there’s a passion for Jesus and taking the Good News to the nations.”
Although the two-day conference is a sell out there’s an opportunity to experience a vibrant, life giving church as the conference takes to the road for special worship celebrations this Sunday morning 10.30am at the four Living Hope Community Church congregations in Port St. Mary, Douglas, Peel and Ramsey.
