Key Appointment for Optimus Pensions

Optimus Pension Administrators Limited are delighted to announce the appointment of Dave Thomas as Head of Pensions.

“We welcome Dave to Optimus and are excited about his new role” said Mark Schofield, Director in Optimus, “He has demonstrated throughout his career his ability to lead, develop and grow teams and we are looking forward to him bringing this to Optimus”.

Dave, who had 12 Years working in the fund industry was Head of Accounting and Valuations within an international private bank and more recently working for a local corporate service provider responsible for servicing their high valued clients.

His new role will see him manage and develop the pension business across the administration of a Malta Qualified Recognised Overseas Pension Scheme (QROPS) and Qualified Non UK Pension Scheme (QNUPS) as well as promoting Optimus’ Isle of Man based business including the newly launched Isle of Man Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP).

“This is a great opportunity and I am really relishing the challenge ahead” said Dave, “There is a lot of press coverage with regards to the recent UK pension changes but despite this the business is continuing to grow at a rapid rate.”
