Local Church to take over Douglas Park for a week of activities

Living Hope Community Church are pleased to announce ‘Encounter’ - a five day event that’ll be taking place in Nobles Park 1st – 5th July.

“Whatever your situation, forgiveness and restoration of life's hopes and dreams are possible when you encounter Jesus!” said Adrian Porter, Pastor at Living Hope Community Church, “We want to invite as many people as possible, from all walks of life to Encounter Jesus at The Big Tent in Nobles Park.”

From Wednesday 1 July – Sunday 5 July the Church will have evenings of live music and real life stories from people whose lives have been transformed by Jesus that includes those involved in drugs and abusive relationships. Square One dance crew from the UK will also be performing nightly.

Each night there will be an opportunity to receive prayer for healing and recovery.

“We’re so excited about inviting the whole Island community together each evening at 7:30pm and Sunday from Noon, there will be something for everyone” continued Adrian, “On the Friday evening we welcome UK street dance crew 'Square One 'for our youth event. Saturday from 11:00am till 2:00pm is a free family fun day with inflatables, games and BBQ, then Sunday we are inviting everybody to bring a picnic to Nobles from noon. The whole Encounter event concludes on Sunday at 2:30pm in the big tent with an all age celebration”

Living Hope Community Church have four congregations across the Island holding various community activities throughout the week as well as Sunday worship celebrations.
