Members of the public will have an opportunity to enjoy the gardens at Government House this Sunday 21 June 2015.
The gardens will be open from 2pm to 4.30pm as part of an event being held in conjunction with the Manx Wildlife Trust.
The nature conservation charity will be selling a range of products, including plants, as well as providing a refreshments stall. Admission is ?5 per person, with under-16s free.
The gardens and grounds at His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor’s official residence feature lawns, flowerbeds, woodland and grazing land.
Lord Raglan, who was Governor of the Isle of Man from 1902 to 1918, was responsible for much of the initial tree planting and shrubberies along the driveway.
The original rose garden was designed by Sir Claude Hill (Governor 1925-1931), while further additions and alterations were made by Earl Granville (Governor 1937-1945), the husband of Lady Rose Bowes-Lyon, The Queen’s aunt.
