On Wednesday 10th June at approximately 11:50hrs a pump from Ramsey Station was dispatched to a road traffic collision between a car and motorcycle at Bulgham Bay area, after the initial collision the motorcycle caught fire triggering the response of the fire service, on arrival the motorcycle fire was out but crews made the vehicle safe and cooled the surrounding areas, the ambulance crews dealt with the motorcyclist who was transferred to hospital for treatment to minor injuries as was a passenger of the car who also sustained minor injuries.
