Car Crash 32nd Milestone

At approximately 1345 (Friday 5th June) the IOMFRS attended a single car which had rolled off the roadway just prior to the 32nd Milestone marker on the TT course. Two rescue vehicles from Douglas station and the duty officer attended the scene to assist the police and the medics with the safe extrication of the driver. The emergency services were on scene for approximately 90 minutes. In order to facilitate a speedy evacuation to Nobles hospital use was made of the Air Ambulance which is currently on the Island whilst the TT races are taking place.

 

At the time of this press release the condition of the driver was unknown.
