Health authorities have moved to reassure the public after social media reports that the capacity at Noble's Hospital was at 'maximum'.

The management says the update from earlier today was related to the emergency department while staff dealt with a road traffic collision.

A spokesman said: 'It appears this has been confused with there being 'no beds available' in Noble's Hospital, which is not the case.'
