Stolen Bicycles

by isleofman.com 4th June 2015

The Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team are appealing for information regarding two bicycles stolen from two separate back yards in the Willaston Crescent area of Douglas.

Both bikes are thought to have been taken between 0800hrs and 1300hrs on Wednesday 3rd of June 2015.

Bike 1 Description:- Blue Adult mountain bike with black spray-painted wheels with a yellow and red fire design on the bar.

Bike 2 Description:- White teenage girl bike, with bucket style seat and white wheel guards

Crimes like this can have a heavy impact on their victims and community, especially on the young 11 year old girl who regularly rides her bike and no longer has it to play on.

I would encourage everyone to secure their property and lock items away to prevent and deter any opportunist.

If you have heard anything in the area during these times or have any information then please contact PC Stuart McLEAN 334 at Lord Street Police Station on 631212 or alternatively contact the anonymous Crimestoppers Line on 0800 555 111.
