BEACH Buddies will hold its final beach cleaning event until after the TT tomorrow (Sunday) when they meet at Glen Mooar, for a volunteer session, starting at 10.30am.

Beach cleaning events will resume again after TT Week, although special attention will be given to the charity’s special Big Beach Bins which are at various beaches around the Island.

Last year the bins were new to the Island’s beaches and put to good use by the extra 40,000 visitors. This year Beach Buddies has organised regular emptying of the bins, as it is expected they will be filled very quickly by those enjoying trips to the beaches, for picnics and barbecues.
