Weather could halt TT practice

by isleofman.com 1st June 2015

Heavy rain and gale force winds predicted for later today could prevent the second qualifying TT practice session from going ahead.

Clerk of the course Gary Thompson says a decision will be made by 2pm.

He said: 'At the moment there is every indication that the weather isn’t looking good. I will be in constant contact with the Meteorological Office at Ronaldsway.'

The Noble's park car park won't be opening at all today to protect the ground for later in the week.

The met office says that after this morning's bright start, showers will develop before heavy rain moves in. Tonight is predicted to be very windy with gales, especially along the coast.
