by isleofman.com 29th May 2015

EY’s Private Client Services team won the 'Accountancy Firm of the Year' award at The Magic Circle Awards, hosted by Citywealth in London on Thursday, 7 May 2015.  Ali Stennett, Head of Tax in the Isle of Man, picked up the award and was also shortlisted for the Outstanding Individual of the Year Award. These annual awards are for leading advisers to private clients. The awards were hotly contested and reflect the depth and quality of EY’s private client practice.

Ali Stennett, Excutive Director said “I was delighted to be able to pick up the Accountancy Firm of the Year award on behalf of the EY Private Client Team.  Given the increasingly global nature of the private client market, it is vitally important to work with tax teams who have global capabilities and this is reflected in the strength and depth of the EY network. I think the award recognises the fact that EY has become the home of private client.”

David Kilshaw, EY London Partner, commented “This award, together with the personal recognition for Ali, reflects the importance of private clients to EY and our commitment to serving them’’
