Appeal over teen death speculation

by isleofman.com 22nd May 2015

An appeal has been made by police on behalf of the family and friends of 14 year old Harrison Cushing who died suddenly on Sunday May 17.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and inquiries are continuing.

Detective Sergeant Neil Craig is leading the inquiry. He said: 'I am aware that there has been quite a lot of local speculation as to the
circumstances surrounding his death. This is entirely understandable given Harrison’s young age, but I would like to request that consideration be given as to the potential impact that any rumours or speculation may be having on Harrison’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time.'

Harrison was treated by emergency services at his home on Sunday evening but later died in hospital.
