by isleofman.com 18th May 2015

A young man thought to have been driving at around 70 miles per hour along the Begoade Road on Wednesday night is being pursued by police.

They want to speak to the driver, described as in his early 20s with short dark hair, who was travelling from the Creg-ny-Baa at about 7pm in a white hatchback, possibly with green and red horizontal stripes along the side.

The vehicle approached a group of horse riders in the area and passed them at high speed, causing alarm to the riders.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 631212 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
