Man hurt in town centre attack

Police are investigating a disturbance in the early hours of today (Sunday) in which a man sustained what's been described as 'substantial' head and facial injuries.


Several men were involved in the incident, which occurred at about 2.30am in Douglas, in the Market Street area near its junction with Wellington Street. A second man sustained a leg injury.


Police are appealing to anyone who saw the incident or who has any information that could help to contact them.
