Mark Cavendish sprinted to his third stage win in less than a week on a rain-soaked fifth leg of the Tour of California.
The Manxman finished ahead of Zico Waeytens and third-placed Peter Sagan in a time of three hours, 51 minutes, 37 seconds.
Team Sky rider Peter Kennaugh is enjoying the event in America and is 9th in the General Classifiction 47 seconds down on the leader.
Today’s (Friday) 10.6km time trial has been relocated slightly because of snow.
The eight-stage race finishes on Sunday in Pasadena.
