The X Factor team are in the Isle of Man all day searching for the next big thing in pop music.

Budding hopefuls can head to the Strand Centre in Douglas to audition for the hit UK television show.

There's no need to register, just show up with your voice warmed up and do your the best.

It's the show's biggest ever audition tour, visiting 50 towns and cities across Britain - and this year that means Douglas.

The production team will be at the Strand from 9am to 5.30pm today, listening to hopefuls on a first come first served basis.

If you can't make it in the day, never fear, the team will also attend an open mic night at the Bridge pub this evening.

If candidates pass this initial stage they're in with a chance to perform in front of Simon Cowell and his panel of judges.
