Government could take control of Liverpool Landing Stage

by isleofman.com 12th May 2015
The Chief Minister says there's "a degree of urgency" to decide on the future of the Liverpool landing stage - and he's not ruling out government taking ownership.
It came as a reply to a Keys question this morning from Onchan MHK Peter Karran.
Mr Bell says the DOI Minister and officers had meetings with Peel Ports on 20th March, regarding the future of the stage and its importance to the Island.
He said the talks have been amicable so far, but with the current agreement due to run out in around 18 month's time, its important to get some clarity on the issue.
He put forward an alternative to Graham Cregeen's suggestion that the Steam Packet could take ownership.Clip 1
